For staffing firms & businesses billing by the hour

Timesheets, built for staffing firms. Just that.

Built simple, on purpose. Your consultants submit in 30 seconds, no training, no tutorial, no help ticket. Pixel-perfect exports in every MSP format your clients require. $5 per consultant per month — no tiers, no enterprise bloat.

No credit card. No implementation consultants. Deploy in days, not months.

01 — The Monday morning problem

It's Sunday, 11pm. Where's Christopher's timesheet?

Your operations lead has been chasing five consultants since Friday. One forgot. Two said they'd send it after dinner. One submitted in the wrong format — again. Billing won't go out Monday unless someone manually rebuilds three spreadsheets in MSP-specific templates before 9am. This happens every week.

→ 01

The Monday chase

Email reminders, WhatsApp pings, escalations to managers. Manual follow-up burns 8–15 hours every week — every week.

→ 02

MSP format hell

Every MSP wants their own Excel or PDF. Your clients use different vendor management systems — Beeline, Fieldglass, others — and you're re-entering the same hours into each, every week. A tax on your ops team that compounds with every new placement.

→ 03

Multi-entity mess

You run two LLCs to handle W2 and corp-to-corp. Off-the-shelf tools assume one company. Your data lives in three spreadsheets and a Google Drive folder no one trusts.

→ 04

Enterprise tools, SMB budget

Workday is for Fortune 500. Paychex bundles payroll you don't need. QB Time is a maze. Replicon starts at "talk to sales." You just want one tool, one price, one job done.

02 — The alternatives

Excel costs you a chase team. Workday costs you everything.

Three ways staffing firms manage time today. One of them is built for you.

03 — Why MTT exists
We tried QuickBooks Time. We tried Paychex. We tried Replicon. All three were so complicated we gave up and went back to Excel. So we built the timesheet platform we actually wanted to use — narrow, fast, obvious. If a consultant can't submit their week in 30 seconds, we got it wrong.

04 — How it works

Submit. Approve. Export.

No training. No "implementation phase." Three steps, every week, from any device.

01

Consultant submits

Weekly hours, OT, sick, PTO. Phone, tablet, laptop — doesn't matter. Self-attest or send for approval, depending on the client.

02

Client manager approves

One-click email link. No login. No portal training. Approval triggers a signed PDF with full audit trail — timestamp, IP, attestation language.

03

Export & bill

Generate the exact MSP format your client expects. Excel, PDF, or custom template — whatever the vendor management system uses, MTT produces it pixel-perfect. Drop it in your invoice. Done.

05 — Built for staffing

The four things that make this not another timesheet tool.

Every other tool was built for an HR department. MTT was built for the back office of a staffing firm.

MSP-native exports

Pre-built, pixel-perfect templates for the MSPs your buyer actually deals with. Your client's billing process doesn't change. Yours gets 10x faster.

Every major MSP VMS-ready exports Excel & PDF Custom templates Per-client formats

Flexible attestation

Some MSPs want self-attested. Some want approver sign-off. Toggle per client — same product, two workflows, zero compromise.

Self-attestation Approver flow Audit trail Signed PDFs

Multi-entity ready

Run two LLCs from one login. Your data, your branding, kept separate by design — without paying for two subscriptions or maintaining two databases.

Multi-tenant Per-entity branding Isolated data

Mobile-first by default

Your consultants live on their phones. MTT was designed for thumb-typing on a Friday afternoon — not retrofitted onto a desktop tool from another era.

Once 20 founding customers are in, the program closes for good. After that, pricing is $5 per active consultant, full stop. No "tier 2" founding offer. No second cohort.

10 — Who it's for

If any of this sounds like you…

MTT works for a solo consultant, a 500-person staffing operation, and everything in between — including consultancies, agencies, law firms, accounting firms, and any SMB that bills clients by the hour. Same codebase, same per-active-consultant price.

Solo professional

Just you, your clients, and the invoice.

Independent consultant, freelance professional, single-person LLC. You bill by the hour — to one client through an MSP or to several directly. You want clean PDF timesheets to attach to invoices, mobile submission, and a way to never miss Friday again.

From $5/month · One person, all features.
Small operation

5–50 hourly people. One ops lead. Too much chasing.

Doesn't matter if you're a staffing firm, a boutique consultancy, a creative agency, a law firm, or any SMB billing by the hour. You're losing 10+ hours a week to timesheet logistics. Excel is free, but you're paying in labor. You're not buying Workday. You need this.

~$100–250/month · Replaces an ops shift.
Staffing at scale

100–500+ consultants across multiple clients and entities.

You've outgrown spreadsheets but can't justify a six-figure enterprise license for what's essentially a timesheet feature. You want predictable per-consultant pricing and clean MSP / VMS automation across every client.

From $500/month · Versus $2,000+ on incumbents.
11 — Things people ask first

The real questions.

Is this only for staffing firms?
No. Staffing firms have the most acute version of the problem (multiple clients, MSP exports, weekly chases), which is why we lead with them. But the product works for any business that bills by the hour — consultancies, creative agencies, law firms, accounting firms, engineering firms, healthcare practices, independent contractors. The simplicity, mobile submission, signed PDFs, and payroll exports apply to anyone tracking billable time. The MSP-specific export features just won't apply if you don't have MSP clients — and that's fine, you don't pay extra for features you don't use.
What if my MSP isn't on your list?
Custom template support is included on every plan — send us your client's blank Excel or PDF template during onboarding and we'll set it up for you. You don't wait for a "roadmap" item, and we don't gatekeep on MSP coverage.
How is this different from QuickBooks Time or Paychex Time?
Those tools are timesheet add-ons inside payroll or accounting suites. They assume you employ the people whose time they track. We're built for staffing firms — where your consultants get billed to a client who needs an approval and an MSP-specific export. Different problem, different product. Also: roughly 30–60% cheaper at any consultant count.
Does $5 really mean $5? No setup fees, no minimums?
Yes. No setup fee. No minimum. One consultant submits one timesheet, you pay $5. No consultants submit this month? You pay $0. We charge for active consultants only — defined as anyone who submitted a timesheet in the billing month.
What's the catch with founding customer pricing?
No catch, and nothing to apply for. The first 20 firms to sign up pay $3 per active consultant, locked for life — the founding rate is assigned automatically when you start your trial, while spots remain. Once 20 firms are in, the program closes and all new customers pay $5 (still cheaper than the incumbents). We'd rather give early adopters a real, lasting deal — and grow alongside real customers — than burn money on ads.
How long does setup actually take?
Realistic timeline: sign up Monday, import consultants and clients Tuesday, run a test week Wednesday, go live the following Monday. We don't sell "implementation services" because they're not needed.
What about payroll integration?
We're not a payroll product and don't pretend to be — that's the point. MTT exports approved timesheets in formats Paychex, ADP, Gusto, and QuickBooks ingest natively. Your existing payroll stays. We're the timesheet layer, not your everything. (And we'll never make you replace your accountant.)
Is it secure? Where's the data?
US-hosted, encrypted at rest and in transit, per-tenant data isolation at the database level. Each firm's data is isolated from every other firm's. We don't share, sell, or train on customer data.
Can I white-label it for my consultants?
Per-tenant branding (logo, company name on PDFs and emails) is included on all plans. Full white-label with custom domain is on the roadmap — talk to us if it's a deal-breaker.
What if I'm just one consultant?
You're welcome here. $5/month, all features, MSP exports, mobile submission, signed PDFs for your invoices. No "team plan" required.
→ Security & trust
